If you feel like you have nothing to wear, here are my go-to tips for putting a cute outfit together with a limited wardrobe.
We’ve all been there – waking up on a Monday morning, scrambling to the closet and realizing all of a sudden.. “I have nothing to wear!”
Maybe you forgot to do laundry that weekend or maybe you’re just sick of your clothes – either way, feeling like you have nothing to wear is no fun at all.
To be honest, this is something that used to happen to me all the time. I even used to skip class just because I couldn’t find anything I wanted to wear! Thankfully, those days are over, and I’ve found some ways to get over that feeling and come up with a cute outfit anyway.
Here are some of my tips to wake up your wardrobe and find something to wear, or at least to get a new perspective on your existing clothes:
1. Look at style websites & Instagram accounts for inspiration
Sometimes I find it helps to look at pictures of people who dress well to get ideas for what to wear. I don’t mean that you should copy their looks, but try to draw inspiration from them and use them to see your clothes in a new light.
Here are some of my favorite online places to find outfit ideas:
• Thatbohogirl – An Instagram fashion influencer/ blogger she post about fashion, outfits ideas, where to shop etc It’s my favorite place to find inspiration from and try new styles or certain pieces that you haven’t seen before. Here is her profile link and you need to visit – https://instagram.com/thatbohogirl?igshid=1gtok8hxlqswv
• Stylemeupwithsakshi – Another Instagram creator and model, she is a body positive creator and her fashion sense and confidence is what all you need to inspire yourself for making your outfit best. Here is her Instagram profile link – https://instagram.com/stylemeupwithsakshi?igshid=ciyigp4asxb3 .
• Deekshakhurana – She is a digital creator and a super talented blogger and always on my search list because she is my favourite when I am confused and I want to wear something comfy yet cool here’s her profile link – https://instagram.com/deekshakhurana?igshid=eokaeutxbpym
2. Challenge: Make it work
This trick works the best if you’re usually experimental with fashion and don’t mind taking a risk!
Here’s what you do: close your eyes or turn away from your closet and grab something randomly. No matter what it is, your challenge is to make an outfit around it and wear it! You can come up with some crazy and fabulous combinations this way, as well as find things you forgot you even had.
3. Borrow something from a guy
When you think all your clothes suck, sometimes all it takes is a quick browse through a boy’s closet to get your outfit going again. Borrow from your boyfriend or steal from your best guy friend – guys always seem to have the best basics!
For example, I love stealing my boyfriend’s cardigans because they’re long, oversized and ultra cozy. So chic with just a tank, jeans, and a few choice accessories. I also love wearing one of his oversized v-neck sweaters with skinnies and ballet flats.
There are so many new outfit possibilities that present themselves when you steal clothes from boys – I definitely recommend doing so if you have access to a guy’s closet.
4. Wear your existing clothes in unexpected ways
Another great way to wake up your boring old wardrobe – take your regular clothes and wear them in new, unintended ways. For example, that black tube top could be a perfect mini skirt over tights with a loose top and jacket, or that too-short-for-winter minidress could look fabulous as a tunic worn over skinny jeans. (BTW, Classystreetweargirls is a great place to see pictures of people doing stuff like this!)
Avoid future “nothing to wear” days by investing in clothes that can be worn multiple ways. Multi-tasking clothes are not only great for changing up your wardrobe, but they’re also perfect for those on a budget – it’s like getting ten pieces for the price of one!
5. Invest in new clothes that do double duty
For example, this Zara floral embroidered kimono. Consider a longline kimono a must-have for tropical getaways and urban escapes alike. From a classy poolside coverup to an elegant dinner-ready ensemble in seconds (just add a statement belt and polished pumps), this embroidered beauty will never steer you wrong.
What did you think of our guide to what to do when you have nothing to wear?
Now that you know how to get yourself out of a nothing to wear crisis, I want to know what you think. Do you have the problem of nothing to wear often, or are you always coming up with new looks? What are your tips to get yourself looking fab when it seems like you have no clothes that work?
Fiama Di Wills is a personal care brand that offers a wide variety of soaps, shower gels, shampoos and conditioners. The only thing that sets it apart from the other brands is its unique blend of nature and science. It is said to have been developed by scientists at the ITC R&D Centre, leveraging the expertise of International product formulation specialists.
Being in this scorching heat of Delhi, sometimes a good shower is all you need to take away the misery caused by the heat. Being a victim of such a circumstance almost daily, I tried on the Fiama Di Wills shower gel along with my bath and I have never felt more refreshed. The bottle is easy to use and just a little bit of the product raises a good lather.
It has an amazing fragrance to it and feels so good on the skin. The fragrance also stays for a good amount of time and doesn’t fade just after the bath. Since its gel based, it has that cooling factor to it which I really like. The consistency of the gel is perfect and does the job well. It’s not harsh on the skin and a perfect loofah can do wonders with it.
The gel is moisturizing and doesn’t leave the skin all dry and pale. Of course a good moisturizer helps keep the skin supple and soft after the bath but this shower gel doesn’t really need one. The best part about this product is that it is not heavy on the pocket and is a very customer friendly product. It is easy to use and even easier to rinse off.
Guess we have finally found a way to beat the heat this summer!
Think you’re leading a healthy lifestyle? Aside from occasionally veering off the path, most of us think we do a fair job of maintaining our health with good (or at least OK) eating habits and physical activity whenever we manage to fit it in. But is that enough to be considered “healthy?”
According to a recent study, very few adults actually meet the criteria for a healthy lifestyle. The study, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, showed that only 3% of American adults got a perfect score on what the authors say are the four basic criteria for healthy living. Just 13.8% met three of the criteria; 34.2% met only two criteria. Women scored slightly better than men.
Steps and More
Just for fun, I came up with my own personal top 10 list of healthy behaviors that contribute to wellness and satisfaction with one’s lifestyle:
Brush and floss daily to keep your teeth and gums healthy and free of disease.
Get a good night’s rest : Well-rested people not only cope better with stress, but may also have better control of their appetites. Research has shown that a lack of sleep can put our “hunger hormones” out of balance — and possibly trigger overeating.
Enjoy regular family meals : This allows parents to serve as good role models, can promote more nutritious eating, and sets the stage for lively conversations. Being connected to family and/or friends is a powerful aspect of a healthy life.
Smile and laugh out loud several times a day : It keeps you grounded, and helps you cope with situations that would otherwise make you crazy. Read the comics, watch a sitcom, or tell jokes to bring out those happy feelings.
Meditate, pray, or otherwise find solace for at least 10-20 minutes each day. Contemplation is good for your soul, helps you cope with the demands of daily life, and may even help lower your blood pressure.
Get a pedometer and let it motivate you to walk, walk, walk : Forget about how many minutes of activity you need; just do everything you can to fit more steps into your day. No matter how you get it, physical activity can help defuse stress, burn calories, and boost self-esteem.
Stand up straight : You’ll look 5 pounds lighter if you stand tall and tighten your abdominal muscles. Whenever you walk, think “tall and tight” to get the most out of the movement.
Try yoga : The poses help increase strength and flexibility and improve balance. These are critical areas for older folks especially, and both men and women can benefit.
Power up the protein : This nutrient is an essential part of your eating plan, and can make up anywhere from 10%-35% of your total calories. Protein lasts a long time in your belly; combine it with high-fiber foods and you’ll feel full on fewer calories. Enjoy small portions of nuts, low-fat dairy, beans, lean meat, poultry, or fish.
Last but not least, have a positive attitude : Do your best to look at life as if “the glass is half full.” You must believe in yourself, have good support systems, and think positively (“I think I can, I think I can…”) to succeed.
It’s All about You
Your list of healthy lifestyle behaviors may be different from mine. The most important thing to remember is that you can make a difference in your health and well-being. Take charge of your life, and be mindful of small behavior changes that can make your lifestyle a healthier one.
You just can’t win when it comes to office air conditioning. I’m not sure if offices blast the AC because it increases alertness and productivity, or because it’s hot as hell outside, or just because the powers that be like to see their employees shiver. Whatever the reason, if you’re going to answer emails without your hands going numb, you’ll have to layer up accordingly. It’s all about the right pieces that can pull on or peel off, depending on the temperature of your cube (because we all know the central air will break the day you decide to wear a sweater).
Fortunately, layering for work is simple and generally looks really chic. The right outerwear can take a plain button-up and black pants from corporate to cool girl. From longline blazers to cute printed scarves, the picks ahead are pretty rad additions to your wardrobe. And you’ll get double the wear out of these layering pieces come fall.
A black moto jacket goes with just about everything, and you can wear it out to happy hour.
A lightweight trench is a chic layer over both dresses and separates.
Keep a light scarf at your desk to throw over your shoulders when it gets chilly. Opt for a fairly neutral color palette, so you don’t look too mismatched if a client happens to stop by.
A great layering piece shouldn’t hide the rest of your outfit. A blazer-style vest is office-appropriate without taking over your entire look.
A soft striped pullover is a French-girl-approved way to stay cozy in your desk chair. Equally cool worn like a sweatshirt over your button-up or layered under your sleeveless dress.
An oversized cardigan basically feels like you’re wearing a blanket, without looking like it.
Instead of an oversized hoodie, try a super-soft, textured bomber in an unexpected hue.
On rainy, wet days, this army-inspired trench will keep you warm and dry all day long, inside and out.
Go to great lengths in a long-line blazer that just screams “girl boss.”
If you’re wearing short shorts or a skirt, a long vest over a top can give you some extra leg coverage.ADVERTISEMENT
Cozy levels through the roof.
Layer a cropped sweater over a silky button-up for a playful look that gives you an extra boost of cozy.

So there, we got you ready for a beautiful summer with these handy products that’ll keep your skin healthy and glowing!
I’ve never really been a fan of event based dressing. For me fashion is all about expressing yourself even if it’s breaking the so called ‘rules’ in fashion. Metallics in your outfit has always been considered to be a going-out outfit. But, i don’t find any reason to keep Metallics restricted to just that. So, for today’s post, I’ve thought of sharing a simple day look using metallic. Not to forget, metallic is too hot on trend right now. It’s quite unconventional but obvious to distinguish you in the crowd. You can check out the various pieces in ONLY store, they’ve a great variety from dresses, skirts, tops and shoes they have it all.
This metallic short are from ONLY . I love mixing different pieces together and the result is always refreshing. I paired these shorts with a white sheer shirt and to tone things down and make it look more of a causal outfit I hung This studded denim jacket on my shoulders. Lastly, I added these white basic converse and Grey cat eye shaped reflectors and I was good to go. They key to this trend during daytime is to mix it with casual pieces and keeping things causal. It can be easily made into a going out outfit by switching the converse for red heels and adding a clutch. Hope you guys like the post, I’ll see you next time! Xoxo lovelies!
If you scan my closet you’ll find a sea of black, white, tan, gray. My mostly neutral wardrobe is especially comforting when I’m busy, tired and not really up to having to put much thought into what I wear that day. It’s great to grab and go and know you’ll feel great in what you’re wearing. I’ve found that there’s nothing wrong with sticking to what you know you love, but challenging yourself to integrate color into your wardrobe can be an incredible mood lifter!
As we say goodbye to winter’s gloomy shades of gray and the freshness of spring starts to take over, it’s the perfect time to play!
Instead of going crazy and buying a rainbow-hued wardrobe, we’re sharing some ways to gradually incorporate color so that you’ll still feel good in your own skin. Master color mixing with these tips below and incorporate a little color into your spring lineup!

Redefine “Neutral”
Blush, khaki, mustard, forest green, oxblood and camel – there’s something definitely neutral about these organic colors. Stick with one of these shades to liven up your wardrobe while staying in your comfort zone, or try out pastels for the slightest boost of color.

Dip Your Toes in with Accessories
Afraid to go all-in? Opt for a colorful accessory (or two!). Choose a color that contrasts to your outfit or ties in with the rest of your outfit to add polish without looking over the top. If you really want to take it slow, play up your nails with a vibrant shade.

Keep It Classic
Keep your outfit feeling “you” by opting for a classic cut in a statement hue. Sticking with timeless silhouettes also helps your outfit steer clear of looking loud and garish. Look for items like a trench coat, a simple tee and a classic heeled pump in fun and unique colors and pair them with your go-to neutral basics.

Go Monochromatic
If you’re feeling bold, one of my favorite ways to go all-in with color is through full-on monochromatic looks in a unique shade. Keep it simple by opting for a colorful jumpsuit, or pair a colorful top with pants in a similar hue. Match your shoes to your look for extra color points!
Start your morning right – every day! This is literally the only detox tea / water recipe you ever need that you can make DIY and in your kitchen, with ridiculous amount of ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry!
I love this detox tea recipe because after incorporating it in my daily diet I noticed an improved digestion, amazing energy boost, glowing skin, healthier hair and even helped with weight loss and bad breath.
One of the main ingredients is Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) which have been spoken about more and more over the years. Some of the many other benefits include, weight loss, increased energy, suppressing hunger, boosts your immune system, it can aid with digestive tract issues such as IBS…the list keeps going. This detox tea can be the number one most important steps to an overall much healthier you. Drinking straight Apple Cider Vinegar is not recommended and its always recommended you add water before consuming it. Taking the few extra steps to make this Apple Cider Vinegar Morning Detox Tea is so worthwhile. The taste is more than pleasant which is not always said of just mixing it with water. By adding these few additional ingredients you are also reaping their health benefits as well.
This tea can be enjoyed warm or over ice. If you are having it warm, do not boil your tea as you will cook off the acidity and kill the active cultures. Just heat it to a nice warm temperature to enjoy. You can make a big batch since this will last in your fridge for up to one week.
Update: Check out this photo below. Isn’t it gorgeous?! This photo is made by one of my readers who also tried this recipe and loved and made this gorgeous pic. I was in awe wow. Check her Instagram @parezoushe makes one of a kind food photography and this tea is one of them
